Stainless Steel

STAINLESS STEEL
Steel alloy is produced with minimum 10.5% Chromium content (by mass). Stainless steel is coated with a Chromium oxide film to shield from both surface and internal oxidation.

Thickness: 0.016–0.187"
Width: 0.75–72"
AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL
Steel alloy is produced with Chromium, Nickel and Manganese in both 200 and 300 series types with excellent corrosion resistance and good formability.

Thickness: 0.016–0.187"
Width: 0.75–72"
FERRITIC STAINLESS STEEL
Steel alloy is produced with Chromium only in the magnetic 400 series types with good ductility and oxidation and corrosion resistance. 400 series types cannot be hardened by heat treatment.

Thickness: 0.016–0.187"
Width: 0.75–72"
MARTENSITIC STAINLESS STEEL
High- or Low-Carbon steel alloys built around the type 410 composition of Iron, 12% Chromium, and 0.12% Carbon (by mass). Martensitic Stainless Steel is usually tempered for hardness and high toughness, largely used for medical tools (scalpels, razors, and internal clamps).

Thickness: 0.016–0.187"
Width: 0.75–72"
