HOT ROLLED
Hot Rolled coils are produced from cast slabs and are available in low carbon, high strength low alloy, structural, high carbon, and alloy grades. Metalworking is completed above a metal’s recrystallization temperature to prevent work hardening.

HOT ROLLED PICKLED AND OILED
Hot Rolled coils are surface-treated to remove scale, then oiled to shield from oxidation.

COLD ROLLED
Hot Rolled coils are run through tandem or reversing reduction mills to ensure tight thickness tolerance. Metalworking is completed below a metal’s recrystallization temperature to increase strength via strain hardening.

GALVANIZED
Hot Rolled or Cold Rolled coils pass through a molten Zinc bath, adding a protective zinc layer to shield from oxidation. Increased surface quality can be achieved through further processing.

GALVANNEAL
Cold Rolled coils pass through a molten Iron-Zinc bath, adding a protective iron-zinc alloy layer to shield from oxidation.

Cold Rolled coils pass through a molten Aluminum-Zinc, adding a protective Aluminum-Zinc alloy layer to shield from oxidation and provide heat resistance.

ELECTROGALV
Cold Rolled coils are electrolytically coated with Zinc, adding a protective Zinc alloy layer to shield from oxidation.

Cold Rolled coils pass through a molten Aluminum-Silicon bath, adding a protective Aluminum-Silicon alloy layer to shield from oxidation and provide heat resistance.

PREPAINTED
Cold Rolled, Galvanized, Galvanneal or Galvalume coils are coated continuously using liquid-paint, laminate film, or powder coat applications.
